Saturday, June 20th    Twilight Alfresco Fundraiser

With plans for the RJD June 20th fundraiser well underway, RJD volunteers and staff are hard at work ensuring that the evening will be truly memorable. The event, which traditionally kicks off the summer season for the area, is the Museum's most important fundraiser.

The Esposito Ned's Point property on Mattapoisett Harbor is the spectacular setting for this year's Twilight Alfresco theme. With the expansive lawn and gardens in bloom, this year's theme celebrates the arrival of summer with a plethora of Mediterranean colors and flavors.

Beyond the amenities of the evening-open bar, hors d'oeuvres, music and dancing, a Silent Auction with an array of spectacular offerings will afford guests the opportunity to take home a broad spectrum of terrific offerings. And, best of all, proceeds from the evening underwrite educational programming for students at the RJD, serving more than 2,000 students annually, free of charge.

"We have been so delighted to be the recipient of the generosity of individuals and businesses alike who want to demonstrate their commitment to the children of this area," noted Director Kate Corkum. "Noting the cuts across the board for some many student experiences, we have been very pleased to receive the support of so many people for this event."

Twilight Alfresco tickets are $150 per person, with patron ($750) and sponsorship ($500) levels encouraged. To reserve tickets or a table, please call the RJD or register online.
