CEREMONIES & RECEPTIONS
Share your special day with friends and family amongst the rose garden, pergola and greenery of the historic garden. Pricing ranges from $500 to $4,200 and is based on the duration, date, and size of your event.
Included in a ceremony rental:
- Up to two-hours of function time in the garden (capacity 200+), or under the tent (capacity 125)
- A half hour rehearsal
- Chairs for guests (Up to 120 black garden chairs)
- Access to restroom facilities
- Access to a dressing area
Included in a reception or rehearsal dinner rental
- Up to five hours of function time in the gardens, porches and on the tented terrace (see capacity limits below)
- Use of indoor kitchen facilities for caterers. Coach house may be available upon request.
- Access to restroom facilities
- Access to a dressing area
- Two hour set up time prior to event start time, and one hour post event end for clean up
- Tables & chairs for guests. We have 120 black garden chairs available and 10 60″ round tables. Please ask about additional inventory. Items beyond our inventory must be rented by by the client.
Parties may book the caterer of their choice and must arrange their own rental of tables, chairs and all other equipment required for the event beyond our inventory.
CAPACITY FOR CEREMONIES & RECEPTIONS
- With RJD-Provided tent (40 x 40) and furniture:
- Up to 90 people seated for dinner and dancing
- 110 for seated dinner only
- 125 standing cocktail party
- 170 seating.
- Parties may increase capacity of any event by renting an additional tent at their own expense. RJD staff must have oversight over the rental company and tent placement.
GARDEN PHOTO SESSION
Photos in the historic landscape of the Rotch-Jones-Duff estate capture a memory that will last a lifetime. Ask our staff for a preferred vendor list. All sessions are priced based on the date and time you choose for the shoot and pricing starts at $200 if not part of ceremony or reception rental.

The garden has trees and plants which flower between May and October. Approximate flowering times are below:
May: Forsythia
June: Dogwood
July through August: Hydrangea
June through September: Roses
