Nathanael R Brayton

Nathanael (Nat) Brayton is currently Principal of N.R. Brayton CFA & Co. in Boston. He has been a registered investment adviser since 1991. Nat was born and grew up in the Fall River and New Bedford areas. He is the grandson of Emily Morgan Rotch Knowles. His prior investment and legal experience includes Portfolio Manager and Analyst at Woodstock Corporation, Boston; Client-Relationship Manager at Trinity Investment Management, Boston; and Associate Attorney at Hutchins & Wheeler, Esqs., Boston [now Nixon, Peabody].

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a designation granted by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. His other affiliations include: Director, Nye Lubricants Corp., Fairhaven, MA; Member, Sarah S. Brayton Fund Committee, First Congregational Church, Fall River, MA. Nat attended Cornell Law School earning his J.D. 1979, and Princeton University, earning an A.B. magna cum laude 1973. He graduated Deerfield (Mass.) Academy in 1969.
