Barbara (Barb) Brown

Barbara (Barb) Brown has cultivated a deep appreciation for the intersection of natural sciences and community education. She comes to the RJD with a diverse background in biology and environmental economics, as well as experience as an elementary school educator. Additionally, Barb holds an editorial role at a craft magazine and ownership of a vintage fabric business, reflecting her passion for preserving and celebrating cultural heritage. Barb is eager to bring this blend of expertise and enthusiasm to her role as a trustee, helping to guide the museum in its mission to educate and inspire our community.
