Anne Heller
A native Vermonter, Anne Heller has spent her professional life in higher education. She served as alumni director for her alma mater, the University of Vermont, before moving to Massachusetts in 1980 to work at Emerson College. At Emerson, Anne served as director of alumni relations, dean of admissions, and assistant to the president. In the mid-1980’s, she became a consultant at Maguire Associates, a market research and consulting firm that serves colleges and universities. She was vice president of the Wayland Public Schools Foundation, a member of the Friends of the Wayland Library, chairman of the Friends book sale, and a trustee of the Wayland Public Library.
Anne and her husband, Jerry, discovered the South Coast when they sailed into Padanaram Harbor in the mid-1980’s. After living in Wayland, MA, for over 30 years, they moved to Dartmouth as full-time residents in 2017. Since her arrival in Dartmouth, Anne has joined the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries and the Garden Club of Buzzards Bay.
